Music Council 2025-2026

Music Council is a club of student leaders that work with the program directors and staff to further the goals and interests of the Buena Park Middle School music program through service.

Council members:

are dedicated to and excited about the growth and success of the music program as a whole and believe that they can contribute to this success through service and commitment.
will consistently show other members of the music program what it means to be an exemplary music student through their actions and attitudes.
will meet weekly to discuss goals for the program and progress towards these goals.

Alexandria Jimenez

President

Hi, my name is Alexandria Jimenez. I’m currently in 8th grade, and I’ve been playing the clarinet for almost three years. I also recently started learning the bassoon. I’ve been part of the symphonic band for about a year and a half, and this year I joined the front ensemble in percussion, where I play the marimba. My favorite song is “All the Stars” by Kendrick Lamar and SZA. A fun fact about me is that my sister is the reason I joined music!

Aira Patel

Hello! My name is Aira Patel, and I’m in 8th grade. I’ve been playing the french horn for one year in the symphonic band. I love Hello Kitty, and one of my favorite artists is Bruno Mars. I really enjoy being part of our music program and hope we have an awesome year!

Hi, my name is Emely Torres, and I'm in 8th grade! This is my second year in percussion as a mallet player. This year, I’m playing the marimba. My favorite song is Glue Song by Beabadoobee, and I’m excited for this school year’s music program!

Hi, my name is Ashlyn Johnson! I’m in 8th grade, and I play trombone in symphonic band and marimba in indoor percussion. My favorite song is Seasons by Wave to Earth, and one fun fact about me is that I love to hang out with my friends and create music!

Hello, my name is George. I am in 8th grade. This is my third year playing trumpet in the symphonic band and drum set in indoor percussion. A fun fact about me is that I like race cars.
